WE are the renaissance of malmö
Inspired by the spirit of the Renaissance a period of creativity, artistic expression, and community. We bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds through events that celebrate culture, film, music, performance, literature, and social connection.
Our mission is to enrich student life by creating spaces where creativity can flourish and where people can meet, collaborate, and discover new perspectives. We believe that culture has the power to connect communities, inspire personal growth, and make university life more engaging and meaningful.
Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to create welcoming environments where everyone feels valued regardless of background, identity, or experience.
As a growing organization, Malmö Renaissance is always looking for new ideas, creative minds, and passionate volunteers. Whether you are interested in organising events, working on cultural projects, developing your leadership skills, or simply meeting like-minded people, there is a place for you in our community.
Together, we are building a cultural movement that celebrates creativity, diversity, and connection bringing a modern renaissance to student life in Malmö.
October 2024 – Malmö Renaissance started as an artistic student group.
April 2025 – Malmö Renaissance received association status from Student Union in Malmö.
May 2026 – Of A Midnight Zone – First Malmö Renaissance short movie had its premiere.
